Stantec joins the IAM as a Patron

The Institute of Asset Management (IAM) is delighted to welcome Stantec as our newest IAM Patron.

Stantec is a global leader in sustainable engineering, architecture, and environmental consulting. The company works with clients and partners around the world to deliver the expertise and innovation communities need to manage aging infrastructure and safeguard critical assets.

Simon Jones, Head of Asset Management, Stantec UK and Ireland said: “We’re proud and excited to become a patron of the IAM, supporting this body in advancing best practices across the lifecycle of built assets. Effective asset management is increasingly urgent as organisations respond to changing economic conditions, evolving societal needs, and external factors such as climate change.

“Asset management plays a vital role in understanding, maintaining, and enhancing the performance and resilience of critical infrastructure such as water and energy systems, healthcare, education, and transport networks. These assets are essential services that communities rely on every day. Supporting communities is at the heart of who we are, and our teams are dedicated to improving how our clients manage their assets and optimise their performance. Together, we deliver long-term value for customers, communities, and the environment.”

As an IAM Patron, the company joins a global network of organisations dedicated to shaping the future of asset management through knowledge sharing, collaboration and innovation.

The Patrons of the IAM are an exclusive group of corporate members committed to a high level of activity and engagement with the Institute.
